Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PrepEdge. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The service

PrepEdge is an AI-powered interview and resume preparation tool for enterprise technology sales and pre-sales professionals. Features are generated using third-party AI models — see our Privacy Policy §4 — and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you rely on or share externally.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person — account sharing is not permitted.

3. Credits and billing

PrepEdge is metered by credits: new accounts receive a starter grant of free credits, and additional credits are purchased in one-time packs via Stripe. Credits are consumed only when a generation succeeds — a failed AI generation never costs you a credit. Credit pricing, pack sizes, and what each feature costs are shown on the Pricing page at the time of purchase and are not restated here.

Credits do not expire. Credit purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer-protection law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate content for unlawful purposes, or to misrepresent yourself in an actual interview process in a way that constitutes fraud;
  • Attempt to circumvent credit metering, rate limits, or access controls;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the service;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to submit — for example, another person's CV without their knowledge, in a context requiring their consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content and our content

  • Your content — your CV, job descriptions, typed answers, and notes — remains yours. You grant us a licence to process it solely to provide the service to you; see the Privacy Policy for detail on how and where it's processed.
  • AI-generated output — briefs, tailored bullets, cue cards, scorecards — is yours to use in your job search.
  • The PrepEdge service itself — the software, prompts, scoring methodology, and branding — remains our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the underlying platform to you.

6. Disclaimers

PrepEdge is a preparation tool, not a guarantee of interview or job-search outcomes. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular hiring outcome. The service is provided "as is."

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepEdge's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as a missed job opportunity.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account) — see Privacy Policy §8. We may suspend or terminate your account for a violation of §4, or with notice for any other reason, including discontinuing the service. On termination, your content is deleted per the Privacy Policy's retention terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where significant, notified by email. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
